More than a walk, SunriseWALKS is an event filled with live music, face painting, carnival games, rides, prizes and more. A chance to connect with a community of people who share your cause, this will undoubtedly be one of the most rewarding days of your life, so children with cancer can have the best summer of theirs. Sunrise Day Camps – operated by the Friedberg and Rosenthal JCCs – are 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations founded in 2006. They are part of the Sunrise Association whose mission is to give children with cancer the best summer of their lives through the fun and active experience of summer camp. The only full summer day camp in the world for children with cancer and their siblings, they are dedicated to creating an environment filled with excitement, friendship and adventure—where the focus changes from hospital beds and needles to swimming pools and paintbrushes.

Can’t attend the walk? You can still help! REGISTER to become a Virtual Walker—we’ll send you our SunriseWALKS t-shirts so you can put together your own virtual walk team, raise money and walk around your community wherever you are.
