The Beaches and Spray Parks are open!

The beaches and pools are in full swing. The Town of Babylon has a wonderful website full of information about the town facilities. You can schedule swim classes, obtain resident park permits or a pool plan, or get information about the local beaches. 

Beaches

• Cedar Beach  631/669-5984 Amenities include basketball court, handball court, swimming area, outdoor showers, bathrooms, pavilion, playground, picnic area with grills, and wifi. Food-Available at the Beach Hut throughout the season. Daily entry is $30 Fri-Sun & Holidays; $20 weekdays without a recreation permit.

• Gilgo Beach  631/826-1255 Amenities include swimming area, bathrooms, playground, outdoor showers, and wifi. Food-Available at the Gilgo Inn. Daily entry is $40 Fri-Sun & Holidays; $30 weekdays without a recreation permit.

• Overlook Beach (RESIDENTS ONLY) 631/669-8391 Amenities include bathrooms, playground, picnic area with grills, outdoor showers, and wifi.  Food-Available at the Beach Hut throughout the season

Pools (Residents Only)

• North Amityville - North Amityville Pool - Albany Avenue - 631-842-6240 Amenities include a children's pool, water slide, shaded arbor, lounge chairs, table with umbrellas, wifi, restrooms, and changing area. $4, under 3 free without seasonal pool plan

• North Lindenhurst - North Lindenhurst Pool - Straight Path - 631-957-3510 Amenities include a children's pool, shaded arbor, lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, wifi, bathrooms, changing area, and showers. (Pool has a handicap accessible ramp) $4, under 3 free without seasonal pool plan

• West Babylon - Anthony Sanchez Pool - Sawyer Avenue - 631-661-2067 Amenities include a children's pool, shaded arbor, lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, wifi, restrooms, changing area, and showers. (Pool has a handicap accessible ramp) $4, under 3 free without seasonal pool plan

• North Babylon - Phelps Lane Pool - Phelps Lane - 631-669-4654 Amenities include a children's pool, spray park, double water slides, shaded arbor, lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, wifi, a concession area, bathrooms, changing area, locker rooms, and bathrooms.  $6, under 3 free without seasonal pool plan

• Deer Park - Fabio Buttitta Pool - Acorn Street - 631/242-4803 Amenities include a children's pool, diving pool, shaded arbor, lounge chairs, table with umbrella, wifi, bathrooms, showers, and changing area. $4, under 3 free without seasonal pool plan

Parks

• Copiague - Tanner Spray Park - Kerrigan Road - 631/893-2100 Amenities include a spray park, playground, bathrooms, band shell, fishing pier, and wifi. Food-Available at the Beach Hut throughout the season. Daily entry is $25 Fri-Sun & Holidays; $15 weekdays without a recreation permit.

• Lindenhurst - Venetian Shores Park - Granada Parkway - 631/956-0066 Amenities include a spray park, playground, bathrooms, picnic area with grill, and wifi. Food-Available at the Beach Hut throughout the season. Daily entry is only available to Residents with Recreation Permits.

• Captree State Park Amenities include bathrooms, picnic area, playground, and fishing piers. Amenities include kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. Food-Available at Captree Cove throughout the season (May-Nov. 30th). $10 parking fee without State park permit. Captree Boat Basin docks fishing and party boats for hire. Hotline 631/669-6464
